GENERAL INFORMATION
Setup Charge: A setup charge of $25.00(C) applies to every order + reorder, per design.
Credit Card Payments: A surcharge fee of 3% of the total payment amount will be assessed on all credit card payments.
Order Quantities - Tattoos: Order quantities above 1,000 units must be ordered in 1,000-unit increments (2,000, 3,000, etc.).
Less-Than-Minimum: Minimums stated for each product are our absolute minimums.
Overruns + Underruns: We work to ship every project in the exact quantities ordered.
Sample Policy: Random samples are available at no cost via USPS. Please provide your shipper number when ordering if you require a different carrier.
Artwork Requirements: For best results, please supply vector artwork. Raster files should be at least 300dpi to ensure crisper lines and imprinting.
Creative Art Services: $60.00(C) per hour.
Stock + Name Drop Art: We have a robust library of stock art designs across a wide variety of themes. Many of these designs are available for your client to add their name, date, event, etc. Please contact us with your theme and we’ll be happy to help.
Scratch ‘N Win Cards: Your 1st design layout is free on 1 side, which includes any bleeds. Each additional layout is $83.34(C).
Activity + Tattoo Booklets: Both our Activity and Tattoo are completely customizable to your customer’s needs. Inserting additional pages are available for an additional charge. Please contact us for pricing.
Proofs: Digital proofs are available via e-mail upon request and require a minimum of 2 additional business days.
Pre-Production/Spec Samples: Are available on tattoos only at a charge of $83.34(C) for 25 tattoos up to size 4” x 6”.
Copyrights + Trademarks: California Tattoos assumes that you have authorization to use the artwork you have submitted for your order and that this artwork is in full compliance with the laws governing copyrights and trademarks protecting the holder. By placing your order, you agree not to hold California Tattoos responsible for any liabilities, damages, costs – legal or otherwise – arising as a consequence of our use of your submitted artwork.
Cancellations: If you cancel an order during production, you will be charged for the work completed at the time of the cancellation.
Returns + Quality Claims: Please advise us of any claims or returns within 30 days of receiving your order.
PRODUCING YOUR ORDER
Imprinting White Ink – Tattoo Orders Only: We print your tattoos using CMYK imprinting technologies; however, printing white in your tattoo is a unique imprint dynamic, that requires an additional imprinting plate. For this reason, please clearly specify in your art file which areas require white ink. We suggest you request a digital proof for your review. We do not charge for imprinting white ink and it is included in the price.
Minimums: Minimums do apply to each product category and are determined by order quantity, product size and specific imprinting requirements for each product. Please refer to the specific product page for exact minimums. Less-than-minimum quantities are not available.
Production Times: Schedules vary by product and imprinting process. Please see each product page for exact schedules. Feel free to contact us should you have specific requirements.
Rush Production: Rush schedules may be available based on the product and timeline needed. Please contact us with exact details to see what we can accommodate. Rush charges apply.
Rush Charge - For Classic Tattoos: Rush production is available on our Classic tattoos for $166.67(C). No proof is provided, and rush production shortens the schedule by 1 day. Please contact us for rush availability for any other products.
Special Packaging: We offer a number of special options based on your chosen product. Please contact us for ideas and pricing.
SHIPPING YOUR ORDER
Standard Method: Our preferred carrier is FedEx. Expedited shipping options are available.
Expedited Shipping: Faster shipping methods are available and billed accordingly. Please provide complete and specific shipping instructions on your order.
3rd Party Shipping: A $16.67(C) per order handling fee is applied to all orders using 3rd party shippers.
International Shipments: Our preferred international carrier is FedEx International. We will provide a standard commercial invoice; however, we do not pay duties and taxes.
